Hi,

I tried the release version of PWM 1.9 and after deploying it to Tomcat and specifying the application path in web.xml I'm getting below error.
This page isn’t working. The site is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 503

And I simultaneously deployed PWM 1.8 it works in a way but unable to send out e-mails.
ERROR, email.EmailService, error sending email (530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first)

Where and how do I do that?

My postfix services are configured to use TLS and I am able to send test e-mail from server using Mailx just fine.

Please help!

Regards,
Arun

The ERROR 503 sounds like a tomcat/java error, either something is miconfigured or your using a version too old for PWM.  Check the tomcat logs.

PWM 1.8 doesn't have support for SSL/TLS SMTP servers.

I was able to fix the e-mail issue.
I had to add the below two strings under advanced email settings.

mail.use.tls=true

mail.smtp.starttls.enable=true

But for 1.9 I'm using Tomcat 7 on RHEL 7.7.

So are you saying that there's a chance for Tomcat 7 not supporting PWM 1.9?
