Hi,

For the import for the schema's we use following command: # ice -lice.txt -v -SLDIF -f edirectory-schema.ldif -DLDAP -s xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -d cn=admin,o=eindhoven -w xxxxxxxx

This commands execution shows:Checking if all entries in the LDIF file specified are adds. Please wait ...

But after two three hours of waiting there still isn't any entries into the schema.

Can someone help me to get the schema's into the eDirectory.

Hoi Pedro,

Try importing "edirectory-schema.sch" using iManager or the ndssch tool (see http://www.novell.com/documentation/edir873/?page=/documentation/edir873/edir873/data/amijij0.html), instead of the LDIF. Otherwise, it's just a hand full of attributes and a single object class, which is easy to enter manually in iManager. You may not even need all of them.

Regards,

Menno

Also, try using the ldapmodify command documented in the admin guide instead of ice.
