If you enjoy Pleasant Valley Park for walking, running or riding then you may consider a boost to your enjoyment. A proven way to enjoy the experience even more than you have in the past.
When you invest a bit of time for trail maintenance your recreational experience is influenced, in a good way.
Become a part of the trail builders team by contributing a small fraction of time this fall. All it takes is line trimming or rose bush trimming/extraction. The temps are starting to fall and that means growing season is slowing down. If we can get things trimmed back now then the fall riding season will be ready to begin.
How to begin, enjoy your ride, while riding, choose a favorite section of trail that you wish was better maintained. Walk and and trim a trail. Next time you ride, you will filled with the satisfaction of your work.
Consider gathering a few of your buds, grab some buds and go line trimming this week! If everyone does 1 hour a week then this could be a spectacular riding season.
Any interest in going beyond line trimming? Let me know if you want to do some dirt work and we can set up some time to discuss.
