dear fellow vocalists,

we're looking forward to singing together again next week!

since there is no school Monday I propose we avoid adding one more thing to the last day of break and instead celebrate our return on Tuesday by singing together at the regular time & place [different day].

generally I'm unavailable on Tuesday afternoons but this week it works.  is there anyone in a different boat? ie: were you planning to come Monday but can't make it Tuesday?  please reply asap.

otherwise I hope to see you all on the first day back to school.

what time does the rehearsal start?  [I should know this, as Brooklynn is again expressing interest in joining]

we could start earlier, even before 3:00 if anyone's interested.

The dance practice starts at 4:00, but it is held in Multnomah Village at the arts center.  So when the unpredictable factor of pre-rush hour traffic is thrown in to the mix, I usually only have about 15-20 minutes wiggle room even if I leave the school by  around 3:00.  I'd be up for a little singing before 3:00.  How early could we start?

Hi, all--just letting you know that this term I teach a class on Monday afternoons, and so Salma (and Bella) and I won't be able to make it to song circle. I'm very sad about this, but I am also happy to have employment. We can make it next Tuesday, though.

sorry all!  knew I was asking for it trying to change the schedule.  if people really want Monday I'm happy to make that work, too.  just trying to avoid cramming it into the last day of break scramble - if your house is anything like ours.

delighted to hear that it will work better at least for Melissa, but trying to solve my Sussefusse oversight. [ah-ha! moment of inspiration- Sussefusse parents (and other interested voices)- I have a Sufi chant for us to learn to accompany the dancers; I was working on the arrangement last night at Heidi's request.]

ok. here's the plan for Tuesday: parents & wee folk (& friends?) gather at 2:15 in the music room, sing from 2:15-3:00 while school is finishing, then go gather children (one or two people could probably accomplish this for the group) and continue singing once re-convened around 3:15 'til 4ish

sound like a plan?

on another note-

thank you all for being a fun, generous, talented, flexible group of beautiful voices and wonderful people.
