vscode-pvs freezes my lubuntu box

Hi again, after a looong time i am preparing to use PVS in class again.

However  the new version of vscode-pvs seems to be more delicate than earlier versions.

In fact, i frequently have pvs freezing - and this even freezing my lubuntu, which I am running in a Virtual Box. 

Typically such a problem arises when vscode pops up a message. 

Here is a screenshot. I cannot even close vscode. I need to stop my Linux box by terminating it in VirtualBox.
