pvlib.shading.shaded_fraction1d incoherent results

Hello all,

We have been trying to use the pvlib.shading.shaded_fraction1d new function,  but we are obtaining incoherent results.

When trying to do the examples present in the function:

We obtain incoherent results:

0.04823131363435662
0.0
0.0
0.0

Which do not make any sense. PVlib is updated as well as every package. We cannot find the reason for this, any ideas?

Hi Marcos,

Thanks for reporting that, the problem is that changes to the input data were made but the output wasn't updated (blame me for that). It will be updated soon. Meanwhile, you can make use of the gallery example at https://pvlib-python.readthedocs.io/en/stable/gallery/shading/plot_shaded_fraction1d_ns_hsat_example.html
