Hi everyone,

We are considering changing the theme/styling we use for our online docs to match pandas, numpy, scipy, and other packages in the PyData ecosystem:

- Proposed theme: https://pvlib-python--1173.org.readthedocs.build/en/1173/
- Current theme: https://pvlib-python.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

We'd love to get your feedback on the proposed change, even if it's just as simple as "I like the new/old theme better".  And of course suggestions to improve our documentation in general are welcome as well :)

Here is the pull request in case you are interested: https://github.com/pvlib/pvlib-python/pull/1173

Thanks!
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I personally think the new PyData design is a step backwards as I have more trouble navigating it and finding what I'm looking for.  I haven't really analyzed why this is.  The left pane on the current pvlib site is not ideal either though.
