Hi,
I have monthly soiling loss percentages we'd like to apply when running a model, but I can't figure out how to actually include those in the model chain. Is that possible, or do we just have to apply them manually to the results of the model run?

Hi Justin,
The only loss model connected in the ModelChain class is pvsystem.pvwatts_losses. This loss model inputs a percent loss for various categories, which are all applied as a reduction to the DC power. If the loss is a time series, the index needs to be the same as for your weather inputs, which are propagated through the ModelChain to all of the time series outputs.
Best regards,
Cliff
