Conference Tracks
There are a variety of tracks you can explore and learn from, including:
- Earth, Ocean, Geo, and Atmospheric Science
- Human Networks, Social Sciences, and Economics
- Data Visualization and Image Processing
But, we’re excited to feature two highlighted tracks that will run alongside the general conference tracks!
Playing Nice: Scientific Computing Across Programming Languages
Learn about the ability to bridge languages like C++, Fortran, Rust, and JavaScript with Scientific Python! This track highlights interoperability, API wrapping, and multi-language project packaging, showcasing how Python unites diverse programming languages for scientific research and development.
Data Science and AI/Machine Learning
Get the latest information about Data Science and AI/ML, including tools and applications in science and industry. This track covers open-source techniques, AI applications, and critiques, going beyond the hype of Generative AI to present meaningful advancements and discoveries.
Teen Track: Explore Science and Technology with Python
Join us for the Teen Track on July 8-9! If you're 14-18 years old, come learn how Python solves real-world scientific problems. You'll need a basic understanding of programming concepts and Python libraries. If you're new, contact us at comm...@scipy.org for free tutorials to get you ready.
