There are two things in the Lost and Found from that night:
one is a serving spoon, and another is a copy of Rise Up Singing.
Do any of these belong to you? If so let me know.
So, on to The Future - Stan Pollack has offered his yard
(and barn, and house if necessary) for a RUSH on Sunday
June 7th. He suggests that the optional potluck start at 1:00
and the singing start at 2:30. We have had very fine outdoor
potlucks in his yard before. "Last year we had about 45 show
up in the rain," he says.
He says further, "We live at 1 Bardwell St in Florence on the
corner of Bardwell and North Maple. People should label their
food ingredients to benefit those with allergies and preferences.
Carpooling is always a good thing. How can folks find out if
RUSHees from their neighborhood are planning to come? I would
be willing to coordinate carpooling if folks will just RSVP to
me a few days prior to June 7th."
So - come one, come all to the next RUSH, in June.
Meanwhile, Annie Patterson is going to be the featured performer
at the Echo Lake Coffeehouse in the Leverett Town Building,
9 Montague Road in Leverett, at 7:30 on Saturday May 23. If you
have never been to an Annie Patterson concert you are in for a
treat! This will be a folk performance NOT a singalong - lots
of oldtimey banjo, old ballads, songs Annie has written - you
will love it.
