What: Worship, prayer for our city, schools, families, each other,
etc..., fellowship with each other, practicing the prophetic, videos
from various youth conferences, other stuff...
Who: Anyone who wants to press into God and go deeper
Why: We believe God is calling us to greater intimacy with Him, to
search Him out, to cry out to Him for revival, to give ourselves
wholly to Him and experience His presence. He is doing mighty things
in the earth and wants us to be part of it.
When: Toward end of this month
Where: Probably the Youth Room at PVC
Cost: $0
We are waiting to hear back on the availability of some dates...
likely either Tues 24th-25th or Friday the 27-28th.

Ok, we heard back from the church secretary and the best day for
"Pressing In" is going to be NEXT TUESDAY the 24th.
See below for more into, but here are some additional details:
We will be setting this time aside to focus our attention fully on God
rather than ourselves. Setting something aside entirely for God is
called "consecrating" it. When we do this God says He promises to
"sactifiy" it - which means "set apart for holiness". We devote time
to focus on God, He makes it holy. To do so for this specific time I
feel we need to remove any distractions to our thoughts and minds.
Therefore we will agree to turn off our phones, forget the distraction
of food, forget about work and all our other commitments, and just
come before the throne of the Most High God, to worship, pray and soak
in His presence.
We will meet in the Youth Room at regular Youth Group time on Tuesday
(7pm), then after YG we will just stay - worshiping, praying, fasting,
listening to the Spirit and seeing where He leads us. We will continue
for 22 more hours - leaving at 7pm on Weds. Those who need to sleep
can sleep while others keep the fire burning on the alter.
Note, this is not your standard "all-nighter" where you run around
wild, downing Rockstars and grubin on Kit-Kats. This is a holy time,
to come and lay down everything, enter into His presence with awe,
with thanks and with an open heart. Not to be rude, but if you just
want to come and run around and make yourself the focus, please do not
come at all.

Hey all, we will be breaking our fast with communion and a very light
meal at 6:30 on Wednesday. If you want to stay for that please ask
your parents to pick you up at 7:30 so we have time to eat and clean
up.
