I created a branch for you called commands. You can trim the list in the readme.txt and remove all RC (remote control) related commands and make a new file. These are the serial commands sent to the firmware Then we can remove the variables in variables.h that we don't need. I'm working on the BNO055 branch to integrate the new IMU.
I'll merge everything to the master branch once we test. Ping me if you need more info!

I am new to github because programming is not something i do often. But i do have an idea of what to do in order to accomplish the task you have set out for me. If i run in to trouble, I will send out an email to you.

Yes, I did create an account today to work on this. I made sure I was in commands branch. I had to fork it because I dont have access to the project through github.
9 is fine for me. I am available then. I might have to join via phone because i am still in the village.

I created a pull request. That was the most appropriate thing to do for me. Let me know how much of a fool I am if this step was stupid.

Jim,
How do I know which variables we don't need in the variables.h file ? If it requires careful consideration, I will leave it. But if it requires checking against lines of code in different files, I can help.

Beautiful Abran! Let me pull in your commit and you can remove the variables...essentially the same ones you removed in the txt..

There is a bit of a learning curve with github...I can give you a crash course tonight.

Sounds good, Jim. I will still recommend that you do a quick look over whatever I do. I am prone to making boo boos often.
