Greetings henchmen,
For those of you WHO have been hoping for another opportunity to get involved in the Bay Area recast of a recent Seattle job fair - I bring good news. The application process is re-opening and applications will be accepted through August 15th, 2011.
The relevant application information still exists at http://www.worldhenchmen.org/Apply.htm with two minor differences:
- No need to email your location preference - there's only one left.
- The final application should be emailed to b...@worldhenchmen.org
A few other notes:
1) www.worldhenchmen.org has the application videos from the original participants. Watching these may reveal insight into the puzzles and bonus puzzles. In all likelihood, you've already seen them, but, if you haven't... you may consider waiting until after you've submitted your application. :) The puzzles and bonus puzzles can still be (and should be) solved - so, please try to solve them and submit your results.
2) Information regarding the event may have leaked, however, the original organizers asked all participants to try to contain themselves because of the recast. That doesn't mean containment was perfect. :) If there is information out there... try to avoid it... or, at least try to not go out of your way to look for it. It would be a great waste of money for you to do anything that would ruin the event for you... especially since there are no prizes. :)
3) The FAQ suggests that the Bay Area date is tentative... it is confirmed for Nov. 4-6.
