At the February Fire Advisory Board meeting, a request was made by Commissioner Claire for the EMS Council to review the County Mutual Aid Plan and see if there are any changes needed from an EMS standpoint.
Since we will not be meeting prior to the March 18th Fire Advisory Board meeting, I would like to respectfully request you review the M/A Plan(attached).
If there is anything you feel needs revising, please provide your department’s representative to the board. You may also send your suggestions to me and I will forward to the Commissioner.
I have also attached the latest NYS EMS Policy statement on mutual aid for you to use as a guide. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this important matter.
