Dear Colleague,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am pleased to announce the launching of a new book project, "Plant Biodiversity for Sustainable Food Security and Climate Change" that will be published by Springer Nature.

I feel pleasure in inviting you to be an eminent contributor to this project. Publication in this book is free of cost, and acceptance will be based purely on the merit/quality of the manuscript after adequate review by another subject expert.

 

 Themes for Book Chapters

1.      Plant Biodiversity and Food Security:

2.      Climate Change and Biodiversity in Agriculture

3.      Traditional Knowledge and Ethnobotany:

4.      Agroecology and Sustainable Farming

5.      Conservation of Wild Relatives and Native Species

6.      Technological Innovations and Genetic Resources

7.      Case studies for maintaining biodiversity for food security

 

Important Dates:

Abstract Submission Deadline: 30th October 2024

Full Chapter Submission Deadline: 15th December 2024

Notification of Acceptance: 20th December 2024

Final Manuscript Submission: 31st January 2025

Publication Date: To be Announced

 

Submission Guidelines:

Abstracts: Potential authors are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 300 words outlining the chapter’s theme, methodology, and relevance to the book’s focus areas.

Full Chapter Length: Final chapters should be between 8,000 to 10,000 words, including references, figures, and tables.

 

If you want to contribute to the volume in question, kindly reserve your topic immediately (first come, first serve basis). After that, send a tentative Abstract of your intended chapter, mentioning the name of the authors and their affiliation (email address of the corresponding author) to the undersigned at rahmat...@uaar.edu.pk.
