Dear All: I do agree with Dr, Lodhi.
Based on the following points, we can
differentiate the original and fake journal/journal’s websites:
1) Journal of Xi'an Shiyou University (Natural Science Edition is being published by Xi'an Petroleum Institute, Xi'an Shiyou University. This journal publishes articles in the field of “oil and gas” only. This is the journal link present on the University website: https://xasy.cbpt.cnki.net/WKB3/WebPublication/index.aspx?mid=xasy
2) The other two websites other than the above are fake. Papers published on these two fake websites are not being indexed in Scopus. While articles published on https://xasy.cbpt.cnki.net/WKB3/WebPublication/index.aspx?mid=xasy are being indexed in Scopus.
3) One fake publisher is issuing DOI as 10.17605/OSF.10/……… while the second is not issuing any DOI. Articles published on the above website are indexed in Scopus with DOI: 10.3969/j.issn…………….
4) The original journal has only 6 issues per year. For 2023, the original journal has published only 3 issues till today while the fake websites have gone beyond the 6th issue.
5) For submission of articles, one website has given two email addresses, of these, one is gmail based which is banned in China.

A journal named "Journal of Xi'an ShiyouUniversity, Natural Sciences Edition" or "Xi'an Shiyou Daxue Xuebao(Ziran Kexue Ban)/Journal of Xi'an Shiyou University, Natural SciencesEdition" with the ISSN: 1673-064X. This journal is present on two different websites, eachhaving completely different contents, but with almost similar names and thesame ISSN (1673-064X). The HEC-HJRS system shows that the ISSN: 1673-064X is listedunder the X category(https://hjrs.hec.gov.pk/index.php?r=site%2Fresult&id=1001653#journal_result). The details of the journal are as follows: (a) Name: Journal of Xi'an Shiyou University, Natural Science Edition ISSN: 1673-064X Website: https://www.xisdxjxsu.asia/ (b) Name: Xi'an Shiyou Daxue Xuebao (Ziran Kexue Ban)/Journal of Xi'anShiyou University, Natural Sciences Edition ISSN: 1673-064X Website: Journal of Xi'an Shiyou University (Natural Science Edition) | | | | Journal of Xi'an Shiyou University (Natural Science Edition) | | | However, according to BEALL'S LIST of potential predatoryjournals and publishers (https://beallslist.net/hijacked-journals/),the journal with the URL https://www.xisdxjxsu.asia/ is listed as a hijackedjournal, while the original journal is now defunct. Based on my understanding, it appears that both websites,namely https://www.xisdxjxsu.asia/ andhttps://xianshiyoudaxuexuebao.com/KNavi/JournalDetail1.html, are operating ashijacked copies of the journal, which has become discontinued/defunct.Furthermore, I could not find any evidence of such a journal on the officialwebsite of Xi'an Shiyou University. I kindly request you to carefully review the aforementionedfacts. If any one identify the existence of a "Genuine" journal with avalid URL, kindly provide this information. Otherwise, ask HEC to remove itfrom the HJRS system and publish this information for the benefit of theacademic community beacuse majority of papers published in it of Pakistani authors Thank you for your attention to this matter.
