Well I have finally managed to get hold of a copy of this - ended up
getting it through Amazon in paperback so it wasn't too expensive and
I will pass it on to Rebecca afterwards. I must admit I am finding it
a bit hard going, it's quite different to the things I usually read
but I am determined to finish it.

The Telegraph recently published their list of 100 must reads and I
was a bit depressed when I counted up and found I had only read about
7! Although some I have seen as films so I do at least have some idea
of the story - providing the film scripts were true to the novels.

Hope everyone is ok.

Good luck with a fraction of the whole.  As you know I gave up on it!  I know I was supposed to pick something for January and I haven't got round to it yet!   My reading material at the moment consists of gardening books and things like Iggle Piggle in the Night Garden!   Actually I'm getting quite into the Night Grden!  I can name all the characters!!

How about if I try and pick something in the next few days for February?

Hope everyone is OK.

Jill.

Hi to everyone- I did type a long chatty email a while back but it disappeared into the ether somewhere. This year has started with a lot of travel and when I have time to get on the computer for none work the internet is lousy as now.

Look forward to your selection Jill- have been keeping up to date with your allotment news- sounds like fun, but jolly cold. It is 35 degrees here but luckily on holiday so out on the boat all day today :)
