Greetings Purple People,

I am now back in NZ after 2 months in the UK, its cold, wet and grotty here after a very green, beautiful and leafy England but Spring will soon be on its way.

Hope you are all catching up on the reading, sorry I haven't been able to get a copy of Engerby yet but I will read is as soon as I can.

I have read "I Don't Know How She Does It" as Debs brought this book for me as a birthday present a couple of years ago and I enjoyed reading it. Could relate to a few of the dramas and had a laugh. A easy fun book to read, a Chick Book, not what I would normally read, have also leant it to a few of my busy friends. Thanks Debs.

While I was in England I read Dan Brown "Angels and Demons" which I thought was good, better tjan the De Vinci Code, think thay are making a film of it at the moment. Also read "The Shakespear Secret" which can be my book when it is my time to choose. So look out for it I can't remenber when I get to choose but will post it on the book list when I on on the Purple Book site again.

Welcome back Di,

It was great to spend some time with Di in the UK (especially with Bruce!), and we have just caught up with Di's husband Grant and Charlotte and Stewart at their place while we were in the North Island- missed Di by a day! Sorry I have raed nothing in an attempt to get up to date with my Masters stuff- slowly getting there, will try harder with the next book.

It's nice to hear that you are safely back in NZ.  I bet your family are glad to have you back.

I am a bit behind with reading again too, because the library haven't yet got me this months book.  I have been reading "easy, chick lit" stuff the last week.
