Injecting Javascript into existing PDF files

I've been reviewing purePDF to see if it's possible to take an existing PDF file generated by some other program and inject Javascript into the file. purePDF seems pretty extensive and impressive but I'm a little lost if it could do this. The PDF file is a multipage file (one page per person) in which I want to break the document apart and email each corresponding page to the correct person. Everything can be done with javascript in the PDF file but getting it in there is the hard part.
