Hi all,
Better late than never, but I'd like to announce that I started looking into migrating our repositories to a new organisation on GitHub! (
https://github.com/PureDarwin).
Since we realised on IRC that no-one really cared much for the old repository on Google Code (the last commit was in May!); and that GitHub is where the action is, these days - especially given the arrival of shiny new projects like
OpenLaunchD,
Darwin-on-ARM, and
OpenMach, I spent the last few hours painstakingly importing all of the old Mercurial repositories (barring the empty wiki one), into new ones...
Also, consider this move an acknowledgement of Daniel Bethe's tireless determination to drive change in the project, a way of sparking new interest in the project, and also some late spring cleaning, to welcome the impending arrival of 2015. :)
When I get time, I'll start updating the Website, adding folks as members to the new repositories, and might also investigate a mirror repository on Gitorious, to make Erkan happy. ;)
But in the meantime, please consider this a friendly invitation to fork, and play with the PureDarwin codebase in a brand new way. Both pull requests, and direct repository commits are more than welcomed!
Take care,
Tyson.
