Happy New Year everybody!  As we transition into a new year, I (like most others) have taken this time to think about what I want to accomplish in my life, as we make yet another rotation around the sun. I really want for 2013 to be the year that I grow and blossom into the person I want to be.

Make more money:

I know, such a superficial goal to start off with, but it needs to be done.  My hope is to make $25,000 in 2013.  While this is not a ridiculously high number, it is a number that will allow me to pay my bills, and comfortably live a more independent life. Along with making more money, I would like to save more money.  I would like to have $1000 sitting patiently in my savings account for when I will need it most.

Grow my business:

Last year I wanted to branch out into wholesaling, and I did.  This year I really hope to expand upon that aspect of the business.  My goal is that the first six months of the year are dedicated to finding new wholesale accounts in Chicago, and then in the second six months I would like to find a sales representative, to expand my brand into different states.

Grow my blog:

My goal is to have at least 100 active followers by the end of 2013.  I am not necessarily going out to find new followers (honestly I am not really sure how to do that anyways,) but my goal is to consistently provide interesting content, that will get others interested.

Grow my relationships:

They say you either have a couple very close friends, or a lot of not so close friends.  I have always prided myself on having only a couple really really good friends.  As time goes on, though, people grow apart, and I have found that my friendships have weakened.  My goal for the year is to strengthen these friendships by contributing as much of my time, respect, and honesty to my friends as possible, and expecting the same in return, and vocalizing when I feel those things are missing.  In addition to strengthening current relationships, I would like to remain open to starting new friendships with new people.

Figure out my non-debateables in life:

Before I jump into any new relationships (either romantic or friendships) I would like to have a serious think with myself about all that I want in life.  What aspects of my life or goals am I willing to make comprises on, and which are completely non-debateable.  It's important to me that I have a clear mind on this before I begin discussing my future with others.

Have a lovely day!
