do you know what i'm doing wrong?

Can you invoke aclocal from the command line? If not then the script
is borked or missing. If yes then there's something wrong with your
autoreconf script.

note to self: "you need automake, you git!"

anyway, here's a patch for pure/INSTALL (the sales pitch below was

let me know how usable it is for you as a recipient. nb: it's slow
as fsck talking to bb.org, i need to figure out a way to speed up
