URGENT: Fundraising Competition!!

As you know, Eleni and I will be traveling to Arizona State next weekend to represent our team at the Clinton Global Initiative University meeting.
I received an email last Friday notifying us that we were one of only 32 teams selected to compete in the CGI U Commitments Challenge: a head-to-head bracket competition to see who can crowdfund the most for their CGI U Commitments to Action. The winner will be announced at CGI U 2014 by President Clinton. At the very least this will be great publicity and a great way to raise funds for the team (note: ALL money that is raised will go directly to our team, as per the competition rules, so even if we lose, we win!).
There are 5 rounds of fundraising:
- ROUND ONE: 3/10 @ 12pm to 3/13 @ 3pm
- ROUND TWO: 3/14 @ 12pm to 3/17 @ 3pm
- ROUND THREE: 3/18 @ 12pm to 3/19 @ 3pm
- ROUND FOUR: 3/20 @ 12pm to 3/21 @ 12pm
- ROUND FIVE: 3/21 @ 4pm to 3/22 @ 4pm
There are 32 teams competing in Round One, and 16 will continue
to Round Two. Donations do not carry over from one round
to the next which means that, as long as we make it to the next
round each time, it doesn't matter how much or little we raised in
previous rounds. With this in mind, we should pace ourselves
and our donors!! Currently some teams have already raised as
much as $3000, but I doubt that they can keep up such a supportive
fundraising base for all five rounds.

the big "FUNDRAISE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN" button. You will instantly have
your own fundraising page as part of our Team. Upload a headshot
(professional, please :) ) and then send this out to whomever
you think might be interested in supporting our project
through email, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or LinkedIn.
Again, this is a long competition and our perogative right now is
to be one of the top 16 teams on this list:
