CGI U Commitments Challenge

Hi everyone,

I know I've been quiet about this for a few days, but here is the update:

We are now in the midst of a fierce round 3 (Elite 8) and we find ourselves competing head-to-head against the biggest fundraiser in the competition. This round ends tomorrow at 3pm and now I need all the help I can get. We have to pull out all the stops if we want to make it to round 4 (Final 4), which guarantees us the $1250 bonus from CGI U.

We are so close, and I am not above begging at this point:
PLEASE. PLEASE, PLEASE ask all of your friends and family to donate a little or a lot to our team. Tell them all how great this project is and send them a link to the team website if you want. If you had somebody in mind who can donate thousands (or tens...or tens of thousands) of dollars, but you weren't sure when would be the most strategic time to ask for money, NOW IS THE TIME.

REALITY CHECK: our rival raised over $3600 in the past rounds combined... we've only raised about $1000 combined so far. Frankly, their fundraising effort seems absolutely ridiculous in my opinion...I'll let you look at their page yourself. Therefore, we REALLY need to fundraise up a storm. Right now. Eleni, Lara, and I have been working tirelessly to contact different departments, centers, and colleges here at Purdue, as well as businesses in the community, to find funding and we have already received donation from the Honors College, the Office of Global Affairs, and the Global Engineering program. If you have any companies or specific people in mind, please reach out to them now.
