Dear all,

I would formally like to welcome you to the Purdue Intercollegiate Polo Club!  We are so excited that you are interested and hope that you all become full time members of our club.  Polo is a lot of fun (to say the least!) and we really enjoy being able to teach it here at Purdue.  It is my hope that you will all love it as much as we do!

To begin our fall polo school, we will have lessons on the ground using foot mallets on September 19 (a Monday) and September 27 (a Tuesday) on the Memorial Mall (on the side closest to Stewart Center - look for someone with a mallet!) starting at 6:30pm.  These sessions aren't mandatory, but we hope you attend because you will receive instruction on proper hitting technique and the rules of polo.  If it rains, we will still hold the sessions - the location is to be determined at a later date.

If you can pay your dues ahead of time, the total is $325 ($25 to Purdue Intercollegiate Polo to join the club, $300 to Foxton Farm for the horses).  If you pay after one of the ground sessions, the total for dues will be $350 ($50 to Purdue Intercollegiate Polo, $300 to join the club).  If you are interested in riding more than once a week, please e-mail me by Friday so I can begin setting up lessons.  You will receive a lesson schedule next week as the horses are due to arrive the first week of October!

We have a lot of exciting things planned for this semester - hope to see you all next Monday!
