Would anyone be able to help with this remote event for recent grads? It is on Oct 27th..see the details below. I would like to get at least 2 but preferably 3 people to help with this. I should be able to make it unless a work trip comes up. They need responses filled out by this Tuesday.

Thanks!

_Roy

Good morning Roy,

The Purdue Alumni Association is working with our partners at Purdue Global to more intentionally engage recent graduates of Purdue University and Purdue Global. The hope is to create a better connection point between clubs and alumni. To do this, we will be hosting a virtual networking event on Tuesday, October 27, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. ET. It will be marketed to Purdue Global and West Lafayette graduates of the last 12 months. This event will be coordinated and led by Purdue Alumni staff with participation by the clubs. This is a great opportunity for you to not only connect with new alumni in your area, but also participate in virtual programming that qualifies for a “personal” engagement event in the club recognition program.

The event will last an hour and be broken down into this format:

7:30-7:45 p.m.            Introductions of hosts (PAA staff and club volunteers) and discussion of Purdue Alumni membership and club program.

7:45-8:20 p.m.            Small groups where participants are placed in small groups with club leaders to learn more about club events, participation, etc.

8:20-8:30 p.m.            Closing announcements and prize package raffle

As stated above, clubs that volunteer to participate will be placed in small groups to speak with alumni that sign up to speak with the club that is of most interest to them. Simply put, participants will select a club to talk to via registration. If your club would like to participate, please fill out this form by September 16:  https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_72hReaL1HRGiF6J. Each club will need at least two, but no more than three volunteers to participate.

In marketing the event, your club will be listed as a participant along with the website or Facebook link you would like to promote. Additionally, we will let you know a few times during the marketing process how many people have signed up to participate in your breakout group. We believe strongly that this event will benefit your club and could yield additional event attendees or even volunteers and hope you can participate.

Hail Purdue,

Maria
