I am trying to find Purcell’s that settled in Grand Blanc, Michigan around 1852, coming from Ireland. There are two groups Edward & Richard Purcell and sisters that married a Murphy, Dunn, & McCartney, Their parents are James & Mary (Whelan) Purcell. The other group all women so the last name changes to: Doyle, Gainey, Monahan, Coggins, Their parents are Michael & Mary (Whalen) Purcell. The two Mary Whalen is throwing me off they can’t be the same person the ages of their children don’t allow that. I found and interview that one of the family did in the 70's and it says that these two groups are 1st cousins. I would love any help. Thanks
