Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow is a documentary that tells the story of Colectivo Altepee, a collective of traditional string musicians from Acayucan, Veracruz who make instruments, teach workshops, and use this traditional music to strengthen communities and support social movement struggles. The collective has done a lot of work recording older musicians who have preserved this rich tradition, often without receiving any recognition or compensation, as well as teaching younger generations the music and the traditions that accompany it.

The screening will be followed by a dialogue with members of the collective and a concert of amazing Son Jarocho music!
