From where does geppetto get the default name of a module in the metadata.json file?

When i create a new module with name say xyz, geppetto auto fills the
name in metadata.json as "<username>-xyz".
So from where does geppetto get the user name?

Geppetto will first look at the preference named 'Puppet' -> 'Module' -> 'Puppet Forge' -> 'Module Forge Login'. If that
preference is empty, it will use the standard Java property 'user.name' which under normal circumstances will be your
login name.
