Hi,

With Puppet 4 now open I just raised: https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PUP-2371.

It's a ticket in which I hope to collect all the weird ass cases where Booleans in Puppet don't work as expected, either because we don't actually get booleans or because of places where Puppet is checking for truthiness instead of nullity.

If you have a use case where you're working around behaviour involving Booleans that you think should work in a sane way, please please please raise a ticket and link it there.

Puppet 4 is our chance to get this insanity sorted.
