Just a heads up to facter contributors that we've "synced" the facter-2 branch to master and are retiring the facter-2 branch. This means that facter contributions should return to the normal behavior of targeting master (or stable for .z targeted fixes).

And for the question of what we're going to do with the "orphaned" contributions on master, we're planning to tackle that in the next couple months. That work will be tracked in a jira epic found here:
