Facter / FACT-2948 DMI Facts Not Populating Issue Type: Task Assignee: Unassigned Attachments: debug.txt Created: 2021/02/25 4:51 PM Priority: Medium Reporter: Michael Hashizume We have a physical server in our data center that is not populating the DMI manufacturer and product elements at all. This machine is running Facter version: 3.14.14 (commit e36657bea27254f003c8fc71d8ef57454db643e2). I've attached the output for facter --debug. These facts not being present is causing Puppet runs to fail. I'm writing a custom fact to get around this, and when Puppet runs start working again Puppet will get upgraded on the machine and Facter will get bumped up to the latest version. I can hold off on doing this if keeping it on this version for debugging purposes is helpful. Let me know if I can provide anything else. Thanks! debug.txt Add Comment
