Facter / FACT-2487 Facter 4 returns undefined method for split() on Facter.value

Change By: Keith Ward Acceptance Criteria: Executing:  interfaces = Facter.value (:interfaces) x = interfaces.split(',')  Should result in x having an appropriate array of interfaces instead of exiting with an error.

When trying to run split() on a Facter.value, it exits unexpectedly with an undefined method.

Example code:   {code:java} interfaces = Facter.value(:interfaces) x = interfaces.split(',')  {code}   Results in: {noformat}       NoMethodError:         undefined method `split' for nil:NilClass{noformat}

Re: Facter 4 returns undefined method for split() on Facter.value Hi, a new version of Facter, 4.0.13, was released today. With this release the problem described in this ticket should be resolved. Keith Ward could you confirm the problem is fixed now?
