Puppet Core v8.13.0 Release Announcement

We’re excited to announce the release of Puppet Core v8.13.0! This release includes several important updates and fixes to improve stability, security, and compatibility. Here's what's new:

 

New in v8.13.0

• Security Updates
  This release includes fixes for several CVEs, helping ensure your environments remain secure and up to date.
• Compatibility Fix for GCC 15
  A recent update to gcc 15 in msys2 caused failures when compiling native extensions in the puppetlabs-puppet_agent GitHub Actions workflow. This release resolves those issues, restoring compatibility.
• Updated install-puppet Script
  We've regenerated the install-puppet script to address issues caused by an expired GPG signing key in our open-source APT repositories. The updated script includes changes from the puppetlabs-puppet_agent module to ensure smooth installation and upgrades.
