Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce that Security Compliance Enforcement (SCE) for Windows version 2.2.1 is now available

With this release, SCE for Windows now supports the latest versions of the puppetlabs‑pwshlib dependency, which fixes DSC reporting issues. In addition, resource names are updated to correctly reference SCE instead of the legacy CEM name

Enhancements
  • Dependency update for improved reporting - This update ensures accurate SCE event information on Windows nodes, which alleviates auditability and reporting challenges for our customers. SCE for Windows is now compatible with puppetlabs-pwshlib module versions > 1.0.0 and < 3.0.0. As a result, customers can update puppetlabs-pwshlib to version 2.0.1, which contains a fix for resource reporting issues in Windows Desired State Configuration (DSC) modules

  • Naming updates - Some Puppet resources referenced the Compliance Enforcement Modules (CEM), a previous name for SCE, in their titles. The resources are renamed to correctly reference SCE

Access this release: Customers with an active SCE subscription can download the latest version of the module from the Forge.
