Hi,

what hardware are you using. Error means that no cameras can be found.

Best,

Moritz

did you install the app via the debian package manager?

I might be that the usb permissions are missing: https://github.com/pupil-labs/pyuvc#udev-rules-for-running-as-normal-user

Dear Moritz,

Thanks for your quick reply.

Indeed, it is a usb permissions problem. I do not have this problem when I run the pupil as root. However the link that you provide it does not help.
Moreover I have an additional problem with the libraryTurbojpeg when I run as root:

Now I have two problems:

1. I can acces to the usb because of the permisions.
2. When I run as a root I have an error of turbojpeg:
WORLD Process [ERROR] uvc : Turbojpeg jpeg2yuv error: Corrupt JPEG data: 6 extraneous bytes before marker 0xd4

Thank you ver much in adavance

Genis

WORLD Process [ERROR] uvc : Could not init 'Auto Focus'!

WORLD Process [ERROR] uvc : Could not init 'Sharpness'!
WORLD Process [ERROR] uvc : Could not init 'White Balance temperature'!
WORLD Process [ERROR] uvc : Could not init 'White Balance temperature,Auto'!

Hi,

This can be two things:

1) the usb connection is bad
2) we are not allocating enough bandwidth.

I think you wrote this somewhere but I can find it anymore. What model in the world camera?

Best,

Moritz

Hi,

my guess is hardware problems. Can you try a different usb port?

Best,

Moritz

Yes I have tried with all the usb ports in my computer.
The eye camera works perfectly fine in all of them but the world camera not.

Do you think is a hardware problem? how can I test that?

Thanks

Estimated / selected altsetting bandwith : 904 / 944.

Not sure if this is related, but I got the following errors installing opencv --with-ffmpeg, when I installed the dependencies:

Hi,

please install ffmpeg and opencv without any flags. I have made updates to the wiki in this regard just now and it works on my machine just fine.

Best,

Moritz
