Anyone with experience connecting a DIY headset on pupil mobile?

Hello,

As the pupil official commercial headset connects directly via usb-c to a mobile device, there is no documentation on using the diy headset with the app. Al least there wasn't the last time I checked. 

Does anyone have any experience with that? I have a standard diy set with the full hd world cam. I fugure I need a usb 3.0 to usb-c hub, but I am afraid of encountering band issues for the simultaneous cameras. 

Any information  is appreciated to save me the time and money of buying the wrong hub.
