Exhalted has a couple of meanings:

1. Lofty; sublime; noble
2. Exaggerated; inflated

Which one are you referring to Jumu? :D :D :D

Naveen , You can select from these meanings

(Adj. 1. exalted - of high moral or intellectual value; elevated in
nature or style; "an exalted ideal"; "argue in terms of high-flown
ideals"- Oliver Franks; "a noble and lofty concept"; "a grand purpose"
high-minded, lofty, noble-minded, rarefied, rarified, idealistic,
elevated, high-flown, sublime, grand
noble - having or showing or indicative of high or elevated character;
"a noble spirit"; "noble deeds")

I selected "elevated in nature or style " , "rarified" and it
sure suits our dear Amogh :) :)

SAD. Electric Blue was my favourite colour on Punto after Exotic Red.

But why colors are getting changed quite fast? First Vocal White on
Linea got discontinued in only 4-5 months, & now Electric Blue. THough
they've launched their substitute colors but still why discontinue so
early?

This is sad, electric blue is really an electrifying color, hope fiat
does come up with another really exotic color.

This is sad news.

Actually world over, the blue in Punto is best, but in India they
modified the color a bit.

Even Blue is one of my favourite colour in punto.

I believe vocal white had problems. I don't know which but I had read somewhere on T-Bhp that there were problems. Besides, bosanova white is a good color compared to vocal white. Now regarding the blue color. Blue is my favourite color (so much so that at one point of time, all my clothes were some or the other shade of blue). However, when I looked at E. Blue, it disappointed me. I was looking for the deep blue (indigo?) color which I had seen in Palio. Otherwise I would have chosen a blue punto. Could it be a reason that E. Blue was not an exciting as a color?

You echoed my exact sentiments regarding the color blue. I too was looking for a deeper shade of blue.

Thr was a reason for vocal white to be discontinued as there were color chipping issues.. something of that sort and hence fiat decided to discontinue it... But  i dont find any reason for the E Blue to be discontinued...:-(

Sad its reely a nice color for the Punto.. Very distinct and bright for the vehicle...

I like being a little rare in the color! My wife and I chose Electric
Blue because we were a little tired of the more dignified and staid
colors like the whites and greys (though the Punto shades in these are
really good). My first 118 was ivory and the second was that subdued
green. We decided to go young in our late fifties!! So three cheers
that the Electric Blue is discontinued! They made only a few of that
rare tone, and only the fewer chose them.

E.Blue was more of a retro kinda shade .... difficult to get indian customer to buy it . It was a very very nice colour ....... compare it with the horrible pink in estillo .. if the indian customer could buy the horrible pink or yellow .. E.blue should have been loved too .... dunno why but am guessing tuscan wine might have a similar fate too ..... it looks good in the pics not sure how it would appeal ... doesnt make the car look sporty at all

Yes. I have seen Wine and I am not impressed. I would rate E. Blue even better than Wine.
Srivats, wouldn't discontinuation make any impact on future painting of a part of the car?

It shouldn't. Du Pont should be able to take care of it. And the e
blue cars in stock are still being sold. In fact the display car in
BUB currently is blue.

Joshi, About repainting -- I am not too worried. But let's cross

I was so in love with this colour that I am rethinking of considering
Punto;
(I know it sounds a little silly, but currently amongst all the Car
Makers only Fiat Punto & Hyundai i20 have this blue).

I am just hoping that next month when Punto Trendz is going to be
launched Punto is going to re-introduce the electric blue along with
few more peppy colours.
or Punto Natural Power(CNG) or Punto Sports.

BTW, I have a query, what exactly does Punto mean when they say

"Additional charges of Rs 4000/- applicable for order of special
colours"

The special colors for Punto are Fox Trot Azure & Tuscan Wine (check
at http://www.fiat-india.com/punto-color-config.aspx?ModelId=6)

Whats Punto Trendz?
