Connection to Facebook XMPP server does not work

Hello,

I just wanted to report you a bug with the connexion to Facebook XMPP
chat servers (chat.facebook.com).

When the client sends a first POST to Punjab, the response comes after
a very long time:

<body xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/httpbind' type='terminate'
condition='remote-connection-failed'/>

I don't know where it can come from (maybe Facebook uses whitelists?),
because their XMPP server is ejabberd (a deep-modified version), if I
remember, so that there's no reason it does not work.

Facebook works for me. Can you post a punjab log here? It looks like a DNS problem if the error is remote-connection-failed

I checked on my laptop computer and all was fine, you're right. It
seems here on the server, it's a DNS fail, but when we ping
chat.facebook.com, it works from the server.

Can you connect to facebook from another client on that server? What happens if you use netcat or telnet to go to chat.facebook.com 5222?
