Hi Guys,

I just returned from Vasota trek last night. It was amazing. There are two treks included. One is Wasota and another is Nageshwar. Few notes.

1. Try to book launch as soon as possible. They have planned such that people should not complete two treks in a day.
2. You need return to the launch point before 5:00PM.
3. Do not waste much time on Vasota.
4. Take some rest on Vasota and go to the Nageshwar.

Your plan looks like 2 days. Its fine then. We completed it in 1 day. There is no permission to stay on the fort. Be aware of that.

There were two groups staying in Nageshwar Temple. But they came from Chiplun side and were native. You need to ask for permission to stay.

No idea, but they said that their village is straight below the Nageshware Temple.

If you are a group of interested and regular trekkers then its not a difficult. But if you have complaining people then its hard to reach the Nageshwar Temple as there is one part where there is a space less than a feet to walk and there is deep valley on other side.

Keep at least 2 liters of water with you. There is one Kund on Vasota..People do use that water to drink.

Thats great!. Unfortunately I don't have contact number of the forest office. All permission related matters need to be solved on the spot.
