PuneRb August Meetup (Elixir focused) invitation

We are hosting August meetup (Elixir focused) on 5th of August from 11 am. I see already 10 people have RSVPed. If you have not, please RSVP at

We are still looking for the location to host the meetup; if your company is interested in hosting this meetup. Let us know soon.

As you have noticed this will be an Elixir programming language focused meetup. The purpose of this meetup is to introduce Elixir ecosystem to Ruby developers. why a Ruby developer should learn Elixir lang, what Elixir brings to the table and how is it beneficial. (All credit to Swanand Pagnis who suggested hosting such meetup). I am personally sure, this meetup will be immensely helpful for many Rubyists.

We are still looking for talks/demos, so please comment on meetup page or reply to this email if you are interested in giving a talk/demo. Talk/Demo needs to be related to Elixir lang or Phoenix web framework.

- A surprise mini talk (15-20 mins) - Akash Manohar

- New additions to Rubex (15 mins) - Sameer Deshmukh

- Elm (http://elm-lang.org) (35 mins) - Prathamesh Sonpatki 

- Elixir for Rubyists (35 mins) - Anil Wadghule  

Akash Manohar will be talking about something unique and amazing in Elixir, that's for sure is going to inspire lots of Rubyists.
