Annual Annadana Seva at Thirupoonthuruthi (earlier name Pushpa vanam) - Thanjavur district

[Pune Sringeri Shankar Math]

During the previous Ashtami, Shri Shringeri Shankar Math, Pune organized an annadanam seva for the entire village of about 650 people. 

This has now become a regular annual fair for the past 25 years with the blessings of Maha Sannidanam.

After completing this village, our group shifted to Annapoorneshwari temple at near by, Thiru Chchotru Thurai village. The Eswar is Shri Odana Vaneshwar ( Odana vanam= paddy fields. Onceupon a time, in this village alone, instead of paddy, the agricultural fields directly yielded rice, instead of the usual paddy. Hence the name.)

After reciting Shri Lalita Shasranama, abhisheka, aradhana , annadanam was served in the temple itself.for about 250 people.
