Dear Friend-

India's Sanctuaries and National Parks are in grave danger from development projects that the government is trying to push through in a hurry by means of a sham National Board for Wildlife (NBWL) that has been constituted in violation of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. 

The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has called this into question and demanded that the government file an explanation in two weeks. This is the right time for all of us to write to the union Minister of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, urging him to appoint credible experts with knowledge, experience and integrity, to the NBWL.
