This is a startling piece of news published in today's Indian Express.
The report says about Matka den running in around Pashan Lake. This
corroborates what I have have experienced some time back, in the evening
time I was not allowed inside for birding by some people standing as
guard to the gate. However, from the other side of the lake I looked
through binocs and could hazily make out some feverish activity. But
could ever imagine that it could be some other activity.
