Greetings!!
The Sanjay Gandhi National Park is Mumbai's lifeline – it provides us with clean drinking water and invaluable climate control services. It is home to more butterfly species than the whole of the U.K. as well as free ranging leopards and countless other mammals and birds! Having the park declared a silent zone will go a long way in protecting this forest and you can help make that a reality. Let us ALL come together and echo the voices of concerned nature lovers. Join us on April 27, 2014 at 7:00 a.m. at the main gate of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park for a silent rally as part of Earth Day 2014.
Bring your placards and posters with slogans and meet us on the foot-paths ahead of the cycle stand, beyond the ticket counter.
We hope to see you in large numbers with your friends and families.
