Pune angels are back !

In the last couple of weeks, there has been significant offline
activity in the angel investing community. Lots of pitches, lots of
closed door meetings, mentoring, business plans being emailed to each
other etc. etc. Can we make Pune Angels, a monthly pitching and
mentoring activity with serious investors and entrepreneurs.
An investor is defined as a person who has made (or will be making) an
investment of 2 to 100 lacs into another company for minority share
and an entrepreneur is defined as a person who is building an
innovative scalable venture on a full time basis.
Entry is only by invitation and is at a premium. The format is
entrepreneur make a pitch in 15 mins, next 15 mins is Q&A and the next
30 mins is suggestions, feedback, leads, critics, ideas from
investors. Session will be moderated so that everyone gets a chance to
speak. Primary objective is investing and secondary objective is
mentoring. If you allow, tertiary activity is networking. Soon we will
be setting up an office with a full time person to coordinate the
activities.
