Its our birthday

We are happy about the fact that Startup Saturday Pune has completed
its first year. The first startup saturday pune was organized along
with Bar Camp at Symbiosis Campus, Hinjewadi on Nov 14th, 2009. The
event was attended by around 50 people. Post that we have had events
in NCL Innovation Center, CMRD and Yashada. We have done events around
companies offering web products, adventure, clean tech, animation,
mobile. We have done one event around startups offering grass root
products like beer, laundry and security personal and another one
focusing on innovative ways of funding.
Some of these were well received, while others were dumped but
speakers and audience. Like a typical startup, we had our highs and
lows. Today, we are happy with a few satisfied and repeat customers, a
few fence sitters and few costomers who have decided they will never
attend startup saturday as they have grown up and their startups are
doing well.
We would like to give an opportunity to all these customers to speak.
Speak about their ideas and startups, about entrepreneurship and their
experience with Startup Saturday. We are inviting people from the
entire pune startup ecosystem, namely Pune Tech, Pocc, TiE, NEN, Pune
Angels, E cells of colleges, Angel Investors to give a short talk. If
you would like to give a short talk, just write a short mail to us and
we will be happy to give you the stage.
Its our birthday and we are having a party. You all are invited.
