Cut a 12 cm thread into 3 threads of equal length and 2 threads of equal length

You a Thread which is 12 cm longs and you have to cut it into 5 parts.
You have to cut it in such a way that you get 3 threads of same length
and 2 threads of same length.

How would you cut it?

Hi,

This could be done if the thread is folded (3 folds) where every fold length
is equal. Then cut this combined thread from between.You will get the
required 3 equals parts and 2 equal parts .

Its like :

A: original
-------------------------- 12 cm thread

B: Ready to cut ( In real scenario vertical parts are almost of zero length)

Cut B rite from between.
