Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Boston,MA

Duration: 12+ months

NOTE: need local candidate only in MA.

§  The following DATABASE Operating Systems are supported:

o    10gR2 and above.

Qualifications:

§  Experience with Oracle RDBMS, database management architectures, technologies and procedures.

§  Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

§  Experience coding ANSI 92 Structured Query Language (SQL) to build and query database objects.

§  Experience installing and upgrading software on midrange hardware.

§  Ability to prepare clear and concise plans.

§  Good shell/batch scripting skills for either UNIX, LINUX, or Windows environments.

§  Working knowledge of how backup software works on large midrange servers.

§  Working knowledge of how SAN storage, network communication, Firewalls and DNS work with large midrange servers.

§  Strong experience working with software vendor to troubleshoot problems.
