Hi all,
There is an article in today's DNA which covered the Pune Randonneur's medal ceremony held at Lifecycle mall on Sunday. It have many facts wrong.
Some of them I have corrected below:
- It is the local cycling clubs(Pune Randonneurs, Mumbai
Randonneurs, etc) who organize and manage rides. ACP just homologate/approves them.
There is no ACP India body.
- 5 from Pune participated in France race and represented India, but nobody could complete it.
I had explicitly given the names of Rafiudeen Shaikh and Harish Ballal, the 2 new Super Randonnerus. But, it is not mentioned in the article.
I informed the editor about this.
I sincerely apologize for the incorrect information.
Regards,
